Umek's new track "2nd To None" is the first release on a brand new vinyl / digital label and club project REKLUSE from Fergie & Mr Henry Von. Hitting all the right places with Umek's rich full sound, the no-nonsense arrangement delivers dependable damage to the disco and the unmistakable siren lets all in ear shot know this one's about to blow.
The original is joined by two very strong remixes delivered by the next wave of Slovenian talent. F.Sonik's take is dark and chuggy, his remix carefully extracts as much intensity as it can during the build up and then lets rip. Tomy DeClerque lives up to his billing of Umek's favorite producer of 2008. He strips the original down, adds some delicate percussion, then starts to build things up really nicely, whilst all the time teasing us with that effective main hook. Both maintain the aim and intent of the original mix, which means you have a choice of 3 powerful weapons here all designed with the same thing in mind to quite simply rock the place.
The vinyl version of the release is already available since 24th november and the digital version will be available from 8th December exclusively on beatport.com.
