Where are the friggin kangaroos?!

Australia is nice (and sunnyyyyyyy!) if you don't mind the jet lag. I tried to compensate it a bit by sleeping on the plane but I only managed to take a 15-minute nap since the flight was just to smooth. I need a bit of turbulence bumps to rock me to dreams.

First stop – Sydney. I totally forgot about my low-carb and low-fat diet and knocked myself out in countless restaurants nearby. The food is just out of this world! Just like the people at the party. Everyone was jumping like nuts (kangaroos?) and the energy was oozing out of every single soul on the dancefloor.

Next morning – Perth. I was really looking forward to seeing at least one kangaroo, but I hadn't have a chance yet. If I don't see one before leaving, I'll buy a few and bring them along on the plane! Jumping animals aside, Perth is quite nice, in fact it looks and feels like Miami (minus hot Kuban chicas). It seems that Aussies are hardcore party people as we did some serious parteeeee here as well. I'm pretty sure that we won't see any kangaroos at all because the brutal base probably scared them all away.

Now I have app. 3 weeks in Melbourne where I'll play a tourist. You know... Sights, museums, exhibitions, fairs...

Next stop: USA tour. Which brings me back to that damn jetlag...

Unfortunately the first place you can find Kangaroo is in the pet food section at any supermarket. I find Koala's more interesting anyway. The eucalypt leaves they eat creates a narcotic effect, so they are always stoned... ;)
