I need a new Mac!
26th February 2010 / Comments (5) / Views (1536)
I decided it's time to retire my old MacBook Pro and buy a desktop computer for my new studio. I still haven't decided whether to go with Mac Pro or just a decent iMac. The price difference is quite big and beside that I think that iMac would fit perfectly into the studio. It's really a piece of art, compared to a dull and large Mac Pro. But on the other hand it's really nice to have a beast with 8-cores, 8 gigs of RAM and a killer graphic card. Decisions, decisions.
I know there's a lot of you geeks out there, so what would you buy? And equally important – where would you buy it? The prices of Apple products in Slovenia are bizarre and I'm really thinking of starting to buy my equipment abroad.

go for the Mac Pro. Austria or Germany have "normal" prices when it comes to Apple products, otherwise, you could always check the UK market.

I think that for studio i prefer 27" Imac, i have 20" Imac and is so faster, better, stronger, harder, hehe.
Mac pro more for out of home. My personal thought.
