The 1605 Platform sampler series leads the way with the third installment, pushing the boundaries of our sound to the fringe and beyond.
The five-tracker starts out with DJ Tonio's ultra-sleek "Over 9000", which happily bounces into Axel Karakasis' "Stomp". The Greek master sets the Techno record straight with his sample-led affair and prepares the ground for Anti-Slam & Weapon's feel-good groover, bustling with percussion and vocal snippets.
Electric Soulside live up to their name and drop a frantic, no-holds-barred track that blurs the distinctions between modern genres, while showing off their synth wizardry. Groovebox close off this collection with a spoken word smorgasbord over a tough groove, while the bass sublimely rumbles under the surface.
