Don't drink and drive
23rd March 2011 / Comments (0) / Views (1252)
I get a lot of requests from different organizations. "Umek, support this, Umek support that."
Usually I let them go their own way, but I'm always honored to support noble actions and projects.
One of them was started by a group of Russian students from Journalism Department at Vyatka State Humanities University. It tackles drunk driving and apparently this is a big problem in Russia. You know, vodka and stuff...
They built a special website that tries to tell people in an amusing way that drinking and driving has serious consequences. People usually think of it as a success if they don't get pulled over when driving under influence home from a party. But the real success, or better yet luck, is that no one gets hurt because of your irresponsible behaviour.
Call a cab. It's cheaper - it costs less money and less life.
