Happy birthday to me

It's fun being a DJ. Not just because you travel a lot and meet loads of interesting people, but also because you can throw kickass birthday parties. Mine took place on Saturday in a monumental open air theatre in the middle of my hometown Ljubljana. I bet you've had birthday parties with lots of invited people, but... Well... Mine had around 2.000 of them. Unfortunately it wasn't ment for everyone to bring me a birthday present, but still – Grega and Jaro of VBG studio, who take care of all my designs, got me a fantastic snowboard with custom-made graphics. The board is made by Elan, a Slovenian company that pioneers the development of high quality skies and snowboards (btw. did you know Elan invented carving?). I can hardly wait to test it on fresh powder.
At the beginning we were a bit concerned about the rain, but fortunately it stopped pouring around 6 p.m. and we managed to attract a nice crowd to both floors of the theatre. Although the temperatures weren't exactly suitable for springtime, it got really hot when Sebastien Leger, Christian Smith and others took over the stage. The party ended at midnight with a premiere of my interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Winter).
