As the purveyor of all things huge, Umek continues to literally slice and dice his way through the clutter of today's tech fodder.
The in-your-face production of the title track sets the tone perfectly for what's to follow, and of course, we are not left disappointed; choppy drums, a juicy bassline and carefree percussion all coming together to lead up to yet another trademarked breakdown.
"Flat Lightning" takes a quirkier route with bouncy bass and crunchy programming. However, after the two-note riff creeps in, there is no turning back as it shifts and mutates over what was a seemingly innocent groove.
