President of Slovenia supported me!

Usually ordinary citizens vote for politicians, but this time it was vice versa. I was excited through the roof when the President of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, personally asked the people to vote for me on DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. Not only had he voted in front of cameras, the video was shown in primetime news all over the country! As a real patriot, the president also supported other Slovenian DJs. I guess he’s really into electronic music hehe.
The story actually goes way back when dr Türk was campaigning for his first term. He came to visit me to Party with the Cause which takes place in my hometown every August. He said to me he’ll always support me and my work and back then it sounded like just another promise from a politician in his campaign. But I guess not all politicians break their promises. He remembered what he said to me that night and this act of support proves that our president can keep his promise. It’s nice to have a true supporter on the very top of my country.

Hopefully we’ll see some new names on the chart this year and maybe a newcomer to the top10. Have you voted yet?
