Umek's name has been associated with techno music for a long while, although he can't really be boxed as pure techno artist in any case. He put a lot of effort in unique sound development trough his career and never slept on past successes. He aims his music to be accessible by as many people as possible - attitude, which speaks of professionalism and confidence. He is famous for his 3 deck & FXs sets and multiple productions all across the world. This EP on Earresistible Musick reflects his latest transition as a producer.
Posing As Me is all about confidence and power. Starting with a strong sickly twisted bass line this crowd friendly techno monster is incredibly simple and effective. It will immediately liven up the mood in any club guaranteed. Cheeky little speech about posing in front of a mirror only reinforces the idea of total control and belief in oneself, breaking out of the stream and turning dreams into reality. Scat Head on the B-side is a little darker, more relentless, but will rock the dance floor in any case.
