Music completes me. I have been going to concerts, festivals, and raves nonstop since I turned 13, and always dreamed of throwing one myself. I started by promoting, then in 2006 I started helping to set up events, in 2007 I started making artist suggestions, performance talent suggestions, and theme suggestions to event producers and found that I had a knack for it. I started go go dancing and djing, and landed my first dj gig in March 2008 at a Mark Farina event in Portland, Oregon. In April 2008, I started throwing events under the name of StarCatchers. Our first event was a small charity event for New Avenues For Youth, a homeless shelter and resource center for people under 21. From there we took off, and before long we were bringing in headliners like Chuck Love and Angel Alanis and having attendances of over 500 people. We were producing stages at large festivals in Oregon including Fire, where we brought out Tom Foolery in 2009. We did several more charity events and the crew over time grew to 35 people, including producers, djs, promoters, investors, go go dancers, fire dancers, hoopers, jugglers, and even a magician. In 2010 I helped Voxx Promotions get their start in Portland and joined their crew, deejaying while I was pregnant. I played before David Garcia at Alice In Raveland in 2012 with my largest audience ever, over 900. Things simmered down when I gave birth to my son and moved out of Portland, but now I have moved to Denver and am anticipating getting back on track and throwing events again, getting back into djing and dancing, and bringing amazing themes, headliners, and talents for people to enjoy. My life is wrapped around music and love, and those are things that will never die!
